A little about me — I’m a Canadian investor and parent based in Eastern Canada. My fascination with finance began during my teenage years, starting with mutual funds at the age of 16. Over time, my curiosity expanded, and by the time I graduated from university at 23, I was actively exploring the stock market and real estate opportunities.
Currently, my investment strategy emphasizes diversified ETFs and dividend-generating stocks. I’ve chosen to remain anonymous on this platform to freely share my personal journey toward financial independence and early retirement.
Having started investing early, I gradually built a solid portfolio. I launched this blog in 2006 with a net worth of $200,000 and set an ambitious target of reaching $1 million by age 35. By mid-2014, I achieved this goal ahead of schedule and have chronicled the journey with detailed month-to-month updates.
